Below is a form for a crowd-sourced bibliography of music theoretical writings and scholarship from around the world. Send us your favorite treatise! After vetting, all entries will be posted on online here. Raw (anonymized) submission data is available here. Please note that email addresses and the names of contributors will not be shared publicly; they are only used to collate responses and, in rare cases, follow up for additional bibliographical information.
Prof. Dr. Melanie Wald-Fuhrmann and Dr. Felix Wörner, editors of the Lexikon der musikalischen Schriften at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics, plan to integrate selected submissions into their ongoing list of musical treatises (currently approaching 900 texts), and they may commission short entries or digital editions of many of these as part of a subsequent stage of their project.
Their current treatise list will soon be available here.
